Salvation Army Dinner
Every 5th Friday of the year, St. Paul's Cathedral partners with the Salvation Army in Burlington to provide a free dinner for folks in our neighborhood. The Salvation Army at 64 Main Street runs a 6-nights a week Friendly Kitchen dinner program, where volunteers from various organizations play an integral role in the success of the program. The congregation of St. Paul's helps by donating food and/or a few hours of their time in terms of setting up and/or serving the dinner (look for announcements in the Sunday service bulletins about the sign-up sheet a month before the event). It provides a low-key and friendly way to greet our neighbors and help people who might be hungry or food-insecure to enjoy a delicious meal. This is fun for families - children are welcome to assist in serving. For more information, please contact St. Paul's coordinator Ali Urang at au97214@gmail.com or (802) 578-9308.
