Worship
The Altar Guild cares for the silver and vestments. The group consists of two or three members, rotating each month.
Cathedral Choirs
The adult choir practices on Thursday evenings, 7:00 to 8:45, and warms up Sunday mornings at 10:00. The Adult Choir sings at the 11:00 am service during the program year. In addition to the Taizé services noted on the Taizé page the choir also sings the O Antiphons in a service of evening prayer on Sunday, December 11, at 5:00 p.m.
The Treble Choir is for boys and girls in grades 2 through 5, and uses the Royal School of Church Music's Chorister Training Program as their basis. Singers learn vocal skills, musicianship and teamwork. Midweek practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:00 p.m., with some flexibility for athletic schedules. The Trebles join with the Canterbury Ensemble to sing for the 9:00 a.m. Eucharist on Sundays.
The Canterbury Ensemble is for singers in grades 6 through 12. Rehearsing on Wednesday evenings at 7:00, the group focuses on singing excellent music from many centuries. After practice, the group adjourns for pizza and hanging out. The Canterbury Ensemble joins with the Treble Choir to sing for the 9:00 a.m. Eucharist on Sundays.
Flower Guild
The Flower Guild creates the flower arrangements for church each week and for special occasions.
Lay Participants
Lay participants are the lay leaders for the Sunday liturgy at St. Paul's, for weekday services such as the Wednesday healing service, and for special services such as Evensong. Access the Lay Participants schedule through the Ministry Scheduler Web Terminal here.
Taizé at St. Paul's
The Taizé Community, an ecumenical monastic community in a small village in the Burgundy region of France, has its origins in World War II. The purpose of its founders was to work ecumenically at furthering peace within the human family by engendering reconciliation and healing of divisions among Christians.
